Marina Hotel - Matala (Crete)

The hotel was pleasant with satisfactory breakfasted and an ideal location on outskirts of village. The very very nice staff accommodated all the needs I enjoyed the clean and bright room. The bed was big and there was Wi Fi. My stay here was good.

The caves were fascinating, even though they were a bit crowded with summer inhabitants. The hotel provided everything I needed - reception, safety, TV. Great location, close to restaurants. Enjoyed breakfast in the garden.

Updating the bathroom would have been a revolutionary experience.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I got great value for my money at this cozy and comfortable hotel. The room was clean and clear, with all the essentials. The location was nice and quiet, just a short distance from the main center. The staff, especially the friendly hostess, treated me well and made me feel at home.

The breakfast selection could have been better, perhaps with more variety or special options.

For our first two nights in Greece, after two long flights from Canada, Marina Hotel was the perfect place to stay. It was quiet and close to the action in town, but far enough away to be peaceful. The staff at the reception made us feel welcomed, and the breakfast was incredible for a 2-star hotel. The location was also great, just a 3-minute drive to the center of town. Highly recommended!

marina hotel in matala was even better than my last stay! the family-run place has a relaxing atmosphere and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. the greek salad they made for me was delicious and parking was convenient. the clean rooms and homemade breakfast made my stay even more enjoyable.
